The UK Health Security Agency released the latest annual report for TB in England. It shows reported cases of TB fell in England in 2020, reducing rates from 8.4 per 100,000 in 2019 to 7.3 per 100,000. However, the decline in cases must be interpreted with caution, as the COVID-19 pandemic saw a reduction in social mixing and impacted on both access to healthcare and migration patterns in England.
