Europe's failure to deliver on drug-resistant tuberculosis "내성 결핵 대응에 실패하고 있는 유럽"

Tuberculosis comorbidities, multimorbidity and mortality amongst adults in South Africa: A prospective cohort study nested in a trial "남아프리카공화국 성인의 결핵 동반 질환, 다중 질환 및 사망률: 임상시험 내 전향적 코호트 연구"

Inflammatory biomarkers of asymptomatic and symptomatic tuberculosis "무증상 및 유증상 결핵의 염증 바이오마커"

Host-directed treatments for tuberculous meningitis utilizing a multi-platform approach across mouse and human models "마우스 및 인체 모델에서의 다중 플랫폼 접근법을 활용한 결핵성 뇌수막염 숙주 표적 치료"

Group photo in front of the Korean National Tuberculosis Association headquarters, holding a banner for the 2026 Nepal TB and nutrition integrated management invitation programme (21 Aug 2026). Headline: Combining TB and nutrition — a first step in the Korea–Nepal partnership. From 18 to 21 August the Association hosted six guests from Nepal’s Ministry of Health and Social Development, WHO and WFP Nepal offices for the 2026 Korea–Nepal partnership programme on integrated TB and nutrition management and care. The delegation visited Masan National TB Hospital (care system and negative-pressure wards) and the Association’s Korean Institute of Tuberculosis (drug-resistant and latent TB diagnostics). At Bioneer, SD Biosensor and MyHub (Lunit) they reviewed paediatric TB diagnostics through AI-based TB solutions; at Seoul National University Hospital and Geumcheon-gu Public Health Center they studied patient-centred nutrition and community TB programmes. On the last day they visited Association headquarters, a mobile TB screening van and the central image-reading centre to discuss Korea–Nepal cooperation. Chair Shin Min-seok stressed that TB cannot be solved by diagnosis and medicines alone and needs nutrition, social protection and community support. The Association plans a joint TB–nutrition pilot with the Government of Nepal, WHO and WFP.
